Love it!! I sure would like to see that fall foliage in person, but since I probably can't, I'll take your wonderful shots instead! #33135

Debbie S. May 26, 2019

Can't wait to see them all Murry!!! Love the red tree and white birches in this one! Could you give me some advice...i've tried 3 times to download the "Buzz" filter and 3 times it ended up on my desktop but, alas, I was not able to get it into PS.....I want to get "Buzzed too"!!!! Can you help? I have a Mac if that matters...thanks ahead of time... ;>) #90360

Mette Vendelboe Allison level-classic May 26, 2019

I really like the perspective and colours in this one. I also find it very attractive that there seems to be less filter on the car and road than on the trees. It looks cool with a mixture of "reality" and manipulation. #90380

Elizabeth A. Zibas May 26, 2019

I don't generally like photoshop that much but this is fantastic. Of course your wonderful composition and colors really stand out. I like the effect that the buzz filter did on this--looks like a nice painting. Great job Murry! #90381

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Carolyn, Debbie, Mette and Betsy. I never checked to see if there was a MAC version of BuZZ, Debbie. So I guess the first thing to do is make sure you down load a MAC version. On the PC it really doesn't matter what folder you use for the down load as long as you install it (or move it) into the Plug-ins folder under the Adode Photoshop folder. I hope this helps? #90411

Kathleen Clemons May 26, 2019

Your disclaimer is a hoot, Murry. Love the filter effect on the birches, and that great color. :) #90424

Suzie Strasburg May 26, 2019

Loved your warning....beautiful colors, and lines...love the way the eye travels... #90444

Gary W. Lake May 26, 2019

Nice Murry - looks ready to hang on the wall! #90450

I just love New England and you captured it well! I will look forward to this month's entries! #90511

Joy Brown May 26, 2019

I think it's all been said, Murry! I agree with everyone and everything that's been said!! Great image!!! #90518

Ruth Denton May 26, 2019

What a treat! First Murry gives us all those beautiful bluebonnets to look at and now a taste of fall in New England (my personal favorite) How much better can it get? Great shot Murry. I'm going to have to try that "buzz" myself someday. #90535

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Kathleen, Suzie, Gary, Shirley, Lorraine and Joy. I hope you all enjoy the ride this month! #90540

Patricia Marroquin May 26, 2019

Gosh, nobody has left me anything else to say, so I'll repeat. The disclaimer is hilarious; the photo is gorgeous. Mette had an excellent observation: The filter left some areas, such as the car and road, looking lifelike while other areas had the full effect of the filter. All adds up to a great photo, Murry! #90559

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Patricia. The simplifier seems to have less effect on non-floral objects and out-of-focus objects for sure. #90576

Wolfgang Dolak May 26, 2019

All right, Mr. Van Gogh! I think we all love this one!! Great idea, Murry!

Thanks, Birdie, Damian and Angela. This will be a fun month for me because I love the Northeast US in the fall. #90653

Ellen Peach level-classic May 26, 2019

Donna R. Moratelli May 26, 2019

You should have contacted me when you were up here. I have been waiting to go up to New England for a shoot for the longest time. This is a beautiful landscape. Remember me in the fall and I'll drag Carolyn along too! #90694

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Donna. Wouldn't that be fun to get a bunch from BP for a fall shoot in New England :0) #90709

Kathleen Clemons May 26, 2019

You guys should come up to Maine in October and hang out with me for a few days! We'd have a blast! #90716

Donna R. Moratelli May 26, 2019

Yes, It sure would Murry and it can be very possible if everyone feels the same way about it as us. How bout' it? #90722

Ruth Denton May 26, 2019

I'd seriously like to do that. We don't have much "fall" here in Las Vegas...and if anybody ever wants to come out here, I can hook you up a great deal on a hotel room. (gotta a friend who's helpful)
I have talked to my husband about going to New England again, and I don't think he's that crazy about going back, but I would give my right arm to be there again. #90726

Heather K. McFarland May 26, 2019

Excellent use of the buzz filter Murray. I really like this image...and ya know....to me it's just the final product that counts!! #90736

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Heather. I really don't see any difference between using the computer and the old chemical darkroom to enhance a photo except the computer is so much easier and more powerful.

I just don't know about this fall but I'll give it some thought if anyone is really interested in meeting up for a few photo days. We'd have to pick a place and a date. Kathleen suggests Maine and it is beautiful! I normally go right after Columbus Day because the crowds are gone and a lot of the seasonal shops are still open and having sales. ????????????? #90746

Heather K. McFarland May 26, 2019

That sounds like fun. But don't know if I could get away since I'm a stay at home mom and need to get my son to school and stuff. But ya never know...keep me in mind if you make plans. Ya know Northern MI is pretty spectacular in the fall also....LOL. Come visit me!!! #90753

Darren K. Fisher May 26, 2019

Im up for the ride, Fall being one of my favorite times of year I am really looking forward to this. The image here is great I love the effect also. #90769

Dale Douthit May 26, 2019

I like the perspective in this one and the colors are so vibrant. Nice job in PS also. #91252

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Dale. #91257

Bernard B. Travers May 26, 2019

Why, you doggone manipulator you. You know this means that you're an inferior photographer now, because you use software. At least it seems to be the prevailing misconception. I've heard it from the best in the field that it doesn't matter what you use to get the effect you want - only that you're honest about it. Hear, hear. Good job, Master Murry. #91337

Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019

Thanks, Bernard. I'm just doing my best to drive the purists crazy :0) #91353

Gary W. Lake May 26, 2019

Your comments strike me as being right on target Bernard. Having basically started out digital I don't have any darkroom experience but based on everything I've learned and read on the subject I can't for the life of me understand why people think there's such a difference between digital manipulation and darkroom manipulation. Traditional photographers have been using darkroom tricks for years to enhance their photos yet many of them decry doing the same thing with software. Granted, you can take the process much further with software, but I personally see no difference between an image that has been manipulated in the darkroom to enhance color, sharpness, exposure, etc. versus one that has been manipulated digitally to do the same thing. In fact, I think you could argue that software manipulation is an improvement in photo development precisely because it's more powerful. #91406

AMEN to the above!!
