I haven't got a chance to say thanks in a while, so thanks all of you! That is the river behind our camp, and I have shown it to people we camp with, and they don't realize that it is that pretty back there. But truth be told, I don't think that the actual river is really is that pretty, because I've cropped some ugly bushes, and the veiled water helps. #2128971Bob Cammarata December 22, 2005
This is very nice Brendan.#2214198

Thanks Bob,Susan L. Vasquez December 22, 2005
A really lovely shot, perfectly exposed Brendan. My only suggestion is to clone out the grass on the lower right, a small distraction from the beauty of the water. #2215330Margie Hurwich December 23, 2005
Susan said what I was seeing. With that said...OMG...what a find! Love it! #2218450Brendan Knell December 23, 2005
Thanks Susan and Margie, I'll try and clone/crop the grass out. #2218467Larissa M. December 24, 2005

Thanks Lue! #2220435anonymous A. December 29, 2005
lots of people try to get this effect, Brendan...few achieve anything approaching this! Luverly!!!Oh...I agree with Susan and Margie re the grass, but even if you can't successfully clone-or-crop it, this gorgeous image is strong enough to carry such a minor "flaw". #2233032

Thanks David, I've been meaning to try and do some cropping/cloning because of some suggestions. I'll try and remember to do it this afternoon. #2233056Brendan Knell December 30, 2005
I finally cloned out those grasses. Lemme know what you think. #2235934Margie Hurwich December 30, 2005
Brendan, it is just gorgeous! Winner for sure!As well, I also noticed the cloning out of the grey in your flower shot with the rooftops. Love it as well! #2236023

Terrific image Brendan, this is very peaceful and serene. I like the slow shutter speed you used to slow the water. #2705736Brendan Knell April 29, 2006
Thanks! I've been thinking of photographing this again this summer, and trying to get it without the grasses. #2707151Molly E. Baldwin December 13, 2007
