How do you create a panorama setting, Sam? My camera has a landscape setting but the photo comes out 4 X 6, not long like this.

This is a beautiful photo. #320234

hey choo, thought you were going overseas?be safe.
my camera has a panorama setting. it masks part of the film frame, the developer recognizes it,and it's printed 4x9.mirror mirror was taken the same way, only vertical?i like the feature.
and the landscape mode just sets your best depth of field,or you could in aperature priority.i set it at f22,my camera wanted f16 for this picture.

Hi Sam:

I'm not going overseas until the end of November and I'm not looking forward to it. Don't like to travel. Such a hassle! But my sister wants to see me. She hasn't seen me since 1998.

How do I create a panorama setting with my camera? I may have to ask on the forums.

My landscape setting doesn't do this. I want photos like this, too! I love the feature. If I could get some photos of geese in flight, like taking off from the water, in a panorama, it would make a great photo in a frame. I've seen some of those sold in stores and they're really neat although I don't know how you print them out. They're so long and skinny. Do you use a different film?

I love your gallery, Sam. I have you bookmarked in my Favorites sites.

Tomorrow, your sunset goose flight photo will appear on my website:

hello choo,
not many cameras have a panorama setting,my xtsi does.not landscape mode which just sets a better depth of field.mine has landscape mode also but I usually use aperature priority.like in the picture above my camera wanted f16 but I wanted better depth of field so I set it to f22.
the same film is used for the panoramic pics, and you can switch the setting back and forth on the same roll of film.in camera it masks the top and bottom of the negative, also shows up in the viewfinder so you know it's activated.i just purchased one just like it off e-bay for under ahundred bucks, got it monday and it's in perfect condition.now I don't have to worry if mine goes down.
you can make panoramic pictures with your camera and a photo program where you stitch photos together to make a panoramic picture.
iv'e been paying attention to the geese when i'm out taking pictures,if I get a good one i'll just e-mail it to you.they spook so easy, very good eyesight.
my daughter just enlightened me on the favorites option.kinda neat,i just don't know all this computer stuff.
i'll check out the web site tomorrow.
suns going down,gotta go,sam

Hi Sam:

My husband just bought me Photoshop Elements and I took a quick look at it and it says I can stitch a panorama. It'll take quite a bit of learning, though.

I suppose it's good the geese get spooked easy, what with hunters lurking out there for them. Keeps them safer. Our geese are citified. They're used to people but I think out in the rural areas, they get spooked easily, too. I hope they do, anyway. I'm always worried about their safety.

I look forward to more geese photos, whenever you can take them. Thanks, Sam.
