Our friend, Gina, may have something there. I've been in places where I felt an immediate sense of peace and deep comfort...almost like it was familiar..like it was "home" and yet, I had never been there before. Know exactly your feelings and that sense of "connection". We talk of "kindred spirits" - why not "kindred places" that evoke the same feelings of familiarity and harmonious compatibility??? Sandstone Falls is my favorite place in WV..Is that kind of place that for some reason you feel connected to and the place that takes your breath away.
As I was telling a friend a few days ago there are places you feel a strong connection to and there others that you don't.
Sandstone Falls is so beautiful in the Fall season and one I will love to photograph in the winter time.
