Nectar Collector
Uploaded: September 27, 2010
Taken with flash from our front porch. They are amazing little creatures and one of my favorite birds. This is my first attempt and capture with these little hummers. I believe this is a female black-chinned humming bird. The male chases the female away from the feeders. Slight crop, adjusted curves, contrast, sat and sharpned. *Macro* Thanks for looking!!!

Outstanding capture Laura!! I like the ghosting of those super fast wings. This is also a wonderful reminder to me to clean and fill my feeders to get ready for the Autumn migration. Beautiful work! #8936088Laura L. Gonzales September 28, 2010
