Arthur ... this image was taken locally. The Arizona mantid is actually found throughout So. Calif. also. This is one of three species of mantids I found down at the LA River in Van Nuys. #8874965

I really like how you have caught what can only be described as a 'look of suspicion' in the eyes of this good looking young Mantid.
