Ladder Example
Uploaded: August 04, 2010
Just thought I'd share this sample of the perspective one can get when shooting down on a classic car using a ladder. In this particular case, I have my Canon 5D MK2 mounted on a heavy duty Induro ballhead attached to a Bogen monopod, which is attached to the ladder, using a couple of automobile hose clamps. To remove any possible shaking, I place a sandbag on the ladder. The camera is set to mirror lockup and is fired with a wireless remote control. You can see the resulting image on the right. The ladder set up was shot with a Canon G10.

Robert, you are an awesome person/photographer to share this image illustrating your staging of this shot!Robert Jensen August 05, 2010
Thanks Carla. By the way, did you notice the difference in colors between the Canon G10 and the 5D MK2? I forgot to mention that. #8807831Merna L. Nobile August 05, 2010
The color difference is very evident. Also, you could enter this image in the monthly theme contest as it has a reflection from the hood onto the fender. Thanks for sharing and presenting the entry with very helpful information.
