This was Barn #6 on the Bucks County Barns of Distinction Tour on July 10.

This stone bank barn constructed in the early 19th Century, was once a part of large dairy farm. In those days the farm was owned by Robert Gibson, who was a member of the posse that captured one of the Doan brothers, nororious outlaws of the late 1700s.

Michelle- For me it don't matter, I find so much beauty and charm in all the pictures and it is so sad that someone would even think of destroying these old buildings. Their beuaty still stands out, the history behind them still speaks. Gorgeous colors, composition, and preservation of history my friend.
