Antique Farm Implements: at Barn #2

Description

---
Rolling Green Farm in New Hope Pennsylvania was Barn #2 on the Bucks County Barns of Distinction Tour this year.
----
The current owner, who winters in Savannah, Ga, has an amazing collection of period objects in the barn (not pictured)and in this equipment shed. The farm dates back to 1682, and the barn (see discussion area) was probably built in 1748. The farm stayed in the Paxson family from 1762 to 1999.
----
Rainy days make for some beautiful greens!
---
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the June Finalists, and best of luck going forward, to everyone!

Oh, man! Makes me wanna go to Grandma's!! They just don't make barns and implements like they use to! Why, I remember smoking my first cigarette (Old Gold) while sitting in an iron seat very similar to that. Some of those are rare, ya know .. if you stumble over one that has "South Bend Chilled Plow" on it, grab it .. it's a rarity these days.
Yep, this is a real beauty .. as are the three FINALISTS you pulled outta your cap!! Congratulations, Mort!! Your gallery is looking magnificent!

Wow, Michelle - fancy a farm belonging to one family for 237 years!! Amazing!! :o) What happened to change that in 1999?

Buildings were certainly constructed to last in those days, weren't they?!! I really like both your images here!! :o)
