Description

This is a windfarm in upstate New York, roughly 30 miles south of Buffalo. Here corn and pastures share corn fields and pastures with giant electric turbines. (Three exposures were combined to give the turbine blades a feel of motion using Photomatix Pro and Photoshop CS3.)

I never got to see this earlier TED, but as one who lives close to a lot of turbines and has shot more than a few (but only last year), I know how special this is! It is/was a great idea and very creative interpretation. CONGRATULATIONS on another outstanding Finalist, and good luck in the next round! #8836155
