Love the way the apes can watch the people here, Nancy. Terrific in black and white. Just saw this in Editor's Picks -- congratulations. #8728734Nikki McDonald July 12, 2010

congrats - I really do love this one! best of luck in the next round!!! may I ask how you got this perspective - are in the gorilla's area? #8753518Nancy S. Kruskop July 12, 2010
Thank you Kim & Nikki!Kim, the gorillas have a large outdoor area encircled by a new building compound with glass walls pretty much all the way around the inside of it. So you can look out a window and see the people across the compound looking back, with the gorillas running around in the center. I used a rubber lens hood and pressed my macro lens against the glass to get this view from the gorillas perspective. This fellow was quite interested in the humans. I might say that he really was a bit more well behaved than his watchers. :) #8754360
