Nikki McDonald level-classic July 01, 2010

I am really torn between this and "beautiful weed" (wonderful colors and I love the simple, graceful composition) as my favorite from your June entries but I've decided to go with this one. I'm always a sucker for lone tree compositions but what takes this over the top for me is the detail on the trees in the distance. It really has to be opened to be appreciated, I think. This is one I would come back to again and again, trying different treatments, I think. The other entry that really caught my eye is [take a load off]. Great eye to see this and find just the right perspective; it's intriguing in the thumbnail and does not disappoint when opened. #1283960
