Description

The restored Whalehead Club is located on 39 acres of property in Currituck County, NC, adjacent to the stately brick Currituck Lighthouse. The 21,000-square-foot "cottage" was built in 1925 for industrialist Edward Collings Knight Jr. and his bride, Mary Louise LeBel at a cost of $385,000. Now part of Currituck Heritage Park, the home is open to the public for tours.

Still on vacation and not much time to comment, but a great big Congratulations! to all the winners!
