Hi Dennis: I think that you and Carla must go to the same races, just kidding!
Her young son races bikes, have you seen her entries? They are wonderful!
Thanks for all the info, really appreciate it. Merna #8667057

Hi Dennis,
I'm love'n your action capture! What an awesome location to capture these riders soaring over the jump. I especially admire the focus and how the three jumpers are clear and the other contestants are blurred.
Love'n this one,

Merry Be MERNA & CARLA!!

Great to see you both at the track catching all the action.
Heaps big thanks (x2) for the encouragement and support of your "Thanks for the info..." and "'n your action..." comments on my motorcross action shot.

Merna: Yes, I have checked out Carla's terrific motorcross action shots and am duly impressed.

Carla: While the spectator area at this track is really only good for photography in the mornings, it is uphill from the track and there are a few vantage points for some really good action.
One thing about that 100-300mm lens is the great compression it creates.

Dennis, you enjoy your vantage point.. The local track my son races at does not have such an photo opp...there are others of course.

Thank you for noticing my motor cross images. I'm smiling with pleasure.

Enjoy your day,

G'day CARLA!

Yes, it has got to be the best track in the whole state as far as I have been told. The committee are dedicated to making continual improvements.

Keep experimenting at your track. Try different vantage points and different angles and see what works best. I am restricted to shooting in the mornings due to the orientation of the spectator's area but if you can move around the circuit always follow the light.
