I want to take the opportunity to thank those of
you who have made great sacrifices for us!
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea! ♪♫♪”
in the breeze out my back door,
and that is our fruited plain of wheat
in the field, still green,
but will soon be harvested.
