The Beauty of Nature

Uploaded: July 10, 2005

Description

We had a huge downpour on July 8, then right after it stopped raining the sun was shining so bright, all the raindrops were sparkling. It was so beautiful, I had to go out and shoot. This one is not one of my personal favorites, I don't like how the leaves are shadowed (from my camera, I was trying to get in real close and ended up blocking the sun) and the large area of darkness at the bottom of the photo. I am posting this one, though, because my husband said he liked it the best.

Location - Toledo, OH (My front yard)
Time of Day - Around 4 in the afternoon
Camera Settings - Manual plus Macro Mode
Exposure-1/1000 Aperture-f/3.2 ISO-100
Editing - Removed noise, sharpened photo, brightened and increased contrast, and cropped
Editing Program - Paint Shop Pro 6
