Herzeliya, Israel
Taken at sunset in a fine weather day of late winter. The cold water did not bother the three boys that were having fun in the waves. I was taking my children to play at the beach and took a camera with me. I didn't expect much of the sunset since the skies were foggy and it obscured the sun. I was planning to turn back home a bit before the sunset when I noticed that the fog eased a bit and let the beautiful red light cover the sea and skies. I didn't have a tripod, so I used my wider lens so I can take sharp enough image in relatively slow shutter speed, and started shooting. I had a hard time working on the scanned image trying to take it as close to the original slide as I could. I did my best, however, on the slide the dark areas are less dense.
