The knobby tyres and colourful mudguards of motocross bikes stand out so well in the mid-morning light.

This before-the-action photograph was made at the Hastings Valley Motor Cycle Club's track, just south of my home town of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia on a wonderful late autumn morning.

Canon EOS D60 & Canon USM 100-300mm Lens: RAW, Manual settings of f/5.6 @ 1/500sec, 300mm, ISO 100, Hand held.
