A sole Pelecanus conspicillatus (Australian Pelican) drifts slowly across the still, dark, shallow water of a peaceful backwater on a lazy autumn afternoon.

This calming B&W nature photograph was made from the southern shore of Lake Cathie, NSW, Australia.
