Outdoors?

Description

Replacing a Background - Marley & Tosh, (yes reggae fans, for Bob and Peter) are caique parrots. They are better known for their antics rather than their talking so are called the clown birds of the parrot family. The original picture was taken on their indoor play stand and the tube is bright pink. For this assignment I thought why not put the boys outdoors. I took a picture of the trees for a new background. Used the Magic Wand to outline and cut the birds, replaced the color of the tube, feathered each image and moved them to the new background. I left the brightness on the leaves of the tree because of the way the indoor light is hitting the tube. Not quite what I was looking for but a fun and informative assignment. I think I will try more of a scenic background next time.

Thanks. Your site is very, very nice. Oscar looks great. To me, the Caiques are unlike any other bird. They really do interact with people nicely and have great personalities. #8549934
