Curves

Uploaded: July 03, 2005

Description

Another shot of a daisy on black velvet. As with the other photo, I shot this in my house on July 1st using bright sunlight from a window and no flash. Time of day was around 7 or 8 in the morning. I don't remember my camera settings, but I think the shutter speed was around 1/400, aperture at 3.2, ISO was probably 200.

Heather, I really like this. I love the white on the dark bg, and the curves of the petals add visual interest, not to mention your beautiful crop. A very well thought out and beautiful shot!

Thanks so much Dale Ann! I was having fun with the daisies, the petals were so interesting with all the curves and curls. I bought them to use during a portrait session with my friend's niece but didn't use them then after all. I still got my money's worth out of them, using them for macro shots and still life! :o) I shot from a lot of different angles trying to get shots of the different curves. I liked this one the best because of the curl of the one petal on the upper right of the photo. #1552582
