Aveiro diversity!
Uploaded: October 30, 2009
Aveiro is an intresting town in the northern coast of Portugal. Named the Portuguese Venice due to many canals, the city also has intresting architectural details in the centre. Two main reasons support the almost extravagant look for places with this mix of painted colours in houses. Usually that applies to maritime towns. Remains of vessels and shipping paintings that just take to cover a facade and a more practical one, since sailors can easily identify respective house from a distance when they are away fishing in the sea.
