Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow! The lines in the sand pull me into the picture and up to speed with the bird. (Maybe that doesn't make sense but those were the first words that came into my mind when I saw this). Fantastic job, gongrats on being a finalist! #2214807

As a composite I still love this image! Henry Peach Robinson, a sort of pioneer in the art of combination printing, received a lot of criticism from "Naturalist" Photographers. I spent a lot of time this last fall researching him and other artists and came to the conclusion that those so call "naturalists" don't have much ground to stand on. I believe there is more to this art than just capturing a moment in time with film or ditital sensors. This is still a wonderful and noteworthy picture regardless of whether or not it is a composite. #2298017Cathy M. Gromball January 19, 2006 0
