I am a little shell shocked by getting a POTD (never thought it would happen because there is just so much wonderful work out there) and by all the wonderful congrats from all the folks I know here at BP and all of those who are new to me that also commented. I so appreciate you all.

Now for those who wanted to know about VP. It is Virtual Photographer - a free download that I was introduced to many months ago by Murry Grigsby, a super photographer and fellow Texan. You can get it at www.optikvervelabs.com/default.php
You can download it as a stand alone program or as a plug in for Photoshop, etc. The shoebox filter is just one of many within VP.

Hope this helps. If you need anymore info just email me - I am always available to answer any questions I can. I am however just learning all this stuff (usually with trial and error) myself so may or may not be able to help.

Stacy - thanks! I did use several different things on this image. I described them in the details that are listed below the image. I buzzed the original, then used VP's shoebox filter and history brushed the crane back to the buzz. Then added a texture - probably sandstone from PS.
