Solstice

This started off as a photo of tree branches lit by late afternoon sunlight against a bright blue sky. I increased contrast and converted to grayscale in ACR, then enhanced the silhouette quality with a high-key filter in Silver Efex. Shot on the winter solstice, hence the title.
Digital Darkroom

Your work on this resulted in an outstanding silhouette and wonderful image Martha!! I love that you left the tree trunk in and ran it the full length of the side and then the branches going across the top and down the other side!! #11682781Terry Cervi March 04, 2018
