Thanks Alicia! It's pretty simple setup, just alot of patience. Find something that will drip into a bowl of water and a macro and tripod. Then plan on being there for 3 or 4 hours! LOL

I've been going at at similar shot for a few hours now and tinkering with fuocus. I've got a water dropper on the end of a broom stick hanging over my bowl so that I can predict just where the drop will land. But as hard as I try I can't get the focus sharp. My settings are 1/200 and 3.8 using a 105mm macro. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Michelle~

It just takes ALOT of patience. Make sure you're focused in the area and just keep trying. I can tell you that out of probably 1000 pics, I've had 5 good ones. It gets tiring. Make sure your flash is on also, that makes a huge difference. Also, play w/ your aperture value, that should help. What kind of camera are you using? If you have an aperture value setting, try that.

Thanks for the tips and encouragement! I'm gonna keep keeping on. :) I've got a Nikon D70 and so I could try maybe a smaller aperture to increase my DOF. This may sound like a silly question but how come you found the flash to help so much? I've only got the an on camera flash. Would that still work? Thanks again for your help! :) :) #1229201
