He's not that big enough to scare you, about six inches long with mostly tail (LOL!), and the extension tube on the 100mm macro lens got me very close!!

Yeah, we're seeing more of these green guys all over the place, hibiscus bushes, ti plants, the bird of paradise and just about everywhere. We have three of them that I have seen so far and guess where you see one there's always another!
