Description

Last Saturday afternoon Leena and I was photographing wildlife at the lake when this boy came by riding his bike along the ridge of a nearby trail - I had to change gears quickly as I could not pass up the photo-op!

Canon 100-400L IS at 400mm. ISO 100, Late-Afternoon, 1/320 @ f5.6, EC 0 - Adjustments with PSCS5 and coverted to B&W with NIK Silver Efex 2

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/320 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 400.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II

When I pull up this page Jeff, I see that six out of the eight pictures have earned the gold. I think these last two entries will make that eight out of eight being gold. Its always a thrill to get that shot off and you have only one shot and a hint of a second to do it, then have it turn out so beautiful like this. This is a picture that you would think the photographer spend tons of time setting up. I am so loving the silhouette and that boy on his bike. The trees, the land lines, even the boy wearing his helmet, everything so sharp and clear. Incredible, award winning work my friend. Outstanding. #10794511
