ah, but the beauty has not faded, only changed- it is beauty on an unpretentious level, a very honest level.
there is a sense of permenancy, not anymore in the act of "becoming."
the photo is quite emotive- a reminder that moments of beauty in youth are fleeting, giving way to more delicate and rich versions of ourselves.
