Crypt Chapel
Uploaded: February 17, 2011 23:54:55
The Chapel of St. Joseph of Arimathea, sunken deep into the crypt of Washington National Cathedral, takes a stylistic departure from the otherwise
English Gothic building, by adopting an older, Norman-influenced architecture. The canvas labyrinth was sized to fit the floor here,
and is also laid out in the nave periodically, for evening programs of meditation and reflection.

WOW! The repeating patterns - the tones. Such warmth coming from so much surface that should appear hard and cold, but doesn't. Amazing capture.. #9263310

Hi ChristopherI've just got 5 minutes at work and I want to say how magnificent this photo is. In fact your love for the Washington National Cathedral shows in all the photos I have so admired. Very soon I hope to have more time to enjoy all of them with time.
