Description

This is one of the main streets within center city of Bologna, Italy. About a half mile forward, is the huge city square and just behind me is the massive train station. This is early morning and there appears to be no activity. Actually, all the people are walking under the porticos and I caught the traffic pattern just right so the traffic did not appear in the image. Bologna is the home of the oldest and largest university in Europe so there is always activity. By Eurostar, Rome is three hours south, Florence is only 27 minutes and Venice is an hour and a half to the north. It's a great city, with the best food Italy has to offer.
