From the Portland, Oregon Rose Garden June 2009, It was a finalist and then second place in the Rose Floral competition. Then in 2016 it was an "All Time Favorite Winner"

This has to be the most beautiful rose garden in the world. I had no tripod and two dogs with me that day. I was visiting Portland, went on a drive no knowing where I would go and I ended up there! What a pleasant surprise.

Wow! Who would have ever known. I am so humbled and excited at the same time. I truly give God all the glory and thanks. This rose has so much meaning as I have told, I took this photo just after my Dad's funeral. He was a freelance photographer who is now in the Lord's Presence. I honor Dad with this. He would be so proud.

And the Lord is so awesome. Life has had it's challenges lately and I have just stayed close to the Lord - He knows how to wrap His arms around us and bless us - this is a huge hug from my Lord and Savior.
