Description

Okinawa is the first location in all of Japan for the Cherry Blossoms (桜) to open. This welcome sign of Spring coming in the weeks ahead turned out to be one of my favorite shots of the day. The bird, a Japanese White Eye is kn own as a Mejiro in Japan. JAN 19, 2009 12:11PM f/8 1/640 ISO 100 Spot-metered Handheld Sigma 50-500@500mm.
