Description

Sorry for the quality. This was taken with a hidden camera at a major produce warehouse with available light and no flash. Apparently this is not an uncommon practice - see the discussion.

Was I surprised to see how nectarines were "produced". This company seems to be more up-to-date in the process as the attached photo of a competitor from their files shows.

On another matter, I have been out of touch for a few days. Been on this undercover assignment (O.K., just my real job!). When I returned, my computer suffered a serious crash. I missed the end of April's contest photos. Is there any way to see those now that the April contest is closed? #123642

Thank you all for your good wishes. This was the first photo I entered in May. It was shortly before my hard drive crash. Ironically, it is one of the photos I lost forever in that crash. So, all of you who want to purchase a copy, you are out of luck! Maybe the judges felt sorry for me. In that case I'll have to work up a good story for this month.
