Description

f/2.8, 1/160 sec., 100mm Macro, Spot metering, ISO-250, manual focus, tripod, timed shutter release, ambient evening light through window. RAW file processed and cropped in Lightroom 2.4. Clean up done in Photoshop CS4.

I'm taking a bit of a break from posting. Have some other things I need to deal with and won't have time. Thanks everyone for all of the support, comments, and encouragement.

An excellent image of this delicate pink Gerbera Daisy, Mark. Well composed with your placement of the inflorescence in the lower right corner, the most distal petals of this bloom so soft and smooth as they lead in to a whorl of shorter gathered solids followed by layers of striking white and yellow two-lipped florets around the tightly woven central disc. Outstanding detail and a timeless capture of this intricate flower’s beauty. I hope your absence from posting is not long since your presence here will be sorely missed! #7887196
