I took these in the Bloch Addition of the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City in June. The sepia tones are natural. I just loved this space and the photography exhibit shown here was wonderful.
Submitted in People in June, no EP; re-submitted in Catch-All in July, Finalist. I am submitting this new upload in the October Monthly Theme. I've never done this before. I'm mighty proud of that finalist badge and don't want to risk losing it :) but I can't help thinking this is a perfect fit for the Exhibits MT.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Stef, Marisol, and Dominick. I'm not actually "risking" losing it -- the upload with the finalist badge is still in my gallery though I did take it off display temporarily. That's why I have the new upload here :) I was confused as to what would happen if the old one got an EP on top of the finalist. I thought it might "hide" the finalist and then if it went no further, the shot might only have an EP. I wrote BP about it and the person who replied said that to be sure, I should submit a new upload so I did. #6587191

When I was travelling, one of my BP friends accidently resubmitted one of my finalists...and it made finalist again... :-). But, no EP button appeared...once a finalist, always a finalsts...unless it gets gold. Good luck on this one, Nikki! #6587334

Thanks for this information, Ken. I thought someone else had told me that he had re-submitted a finalist and no EP button ever appeared even though it went gold the second time, but I wasn't sure. Glad to know their software is set up so that finalist trumps EP and gold trumps finalist. That's only logical. I never thought I'd even consider doing this but I could not pass up this MT :) #6587376
