This is an image from the portfolio I created during a BetterPhoto course with instructor William Neill. The theme is "The Edge of the Sea" and the collection includes long exposure captures taken at different beaches along the California central coastline. This photo with the sea star in the foreground was taken during sunset at the Robert Meyer Memorial SB, California. Setting up the tripod in a stable position and timing the tide action was tricky, and this is the only keeper after almost ten attempts. (5 seconds exposure at f/20,Nikon 24-70mm lens at 24mm, ND filter)
