MARCH 2008 FINALIST
~Digital Darkroom~This train is an old train that is on display at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN. My brother-in-law's father was an engineer on this train many years ago. His father recently passed away, so I put this photo together as a special gift for the family. The original train at Centennial Park has a cover over it, so I removed the cover in Photoshop. The background is a fall photo that I took in Gatlinburg, TN. I took the train from one picture and added it to the scenic background. It took a lot of work in Photoshop to remove the train from the shelter, and add it to the background. I added some blurr to the wheels to give it a feel of motion. I wanted to bring the train back to life, and give a feel that the train was still in working order. The family loved this photo.
