Description

This is a fairly heavily edited version of the "Monet's Bridge" at Grounds for Sculpture, located behind Rats Restaurant, in Hamilton, NJ. If you can visit this sculpture garden, you won't regret it. I'll post the original and b&W versions.

Very nice work, Michelle. I like the original best and the fractalius version next. It looks just like a painting. Your composition is exceptional. The mist, a powerful element, shows up so well in the original. I think it's less effective in the fractalius version. I still find them both appealing though. #5513182

Well, the thumbnail grabbed me and held right on, and then the title did (oh, that's why "rats" bridge), and then the full photo did. I love the plants rising from the bottom of the frame to "meet" the flow of the hanging trees. The effects are beautifully done for this image. #5526621

WOW! This is BEAUTIFUL!!! Actually, ALL three images are beautiful, each in it's own right! Love the B&W; the tones, shadows and highlights, always partial to them. Then original is a gorgeous capture of an incredible place, soft lighting , gorgeous color and flow to it and then I LOVE the creative, artistic effects you added to it Michelle! You use this filter like an artist, like a painter uses its brushes. From a "normal" photo you created something new with a judicious sense of balance because although you transfigured the original you kept its essence by not overflowing it with the effect.
