Berries in Ice

This used two different photographs--one of ice and one of berries. The berry photo I took in November and did some cloning to eliminate some dead berries. I then did some color adjustments, including the use of Kyoto color to saturate the berries a little more. I then layered the ice photo on top of the berry photo and applied a mask. I painted, adjusting the pressures to either allow more leaf and berry to come through and some to just remain "under" the ice. All in all, I was trying for a 3-D effect of berries sticking out of the ice.
