Milky Way over rural western Iowa.
I used a pano-tilt head to take a series of overlapping photos...75 total photos. 15 compositions with five photos stacked in each composition. Three rows with 5 stacks in each row. The bottom row had more of the foreground whereas the next two rows included more stars in the vertical.
For the 5-photo stacks, I used a star stacking application to reduce noise within the stack. I did 15 separate noise reduction images.
I then used PTGui pano software to combine the 15 stacks (five frames in each rows; three rows in the vertical).
