Dragonfly Eyes [Details & Macro]
Uploaded: August 23, 2016 10:08:02 | Entered: August 23, 2016 10:08:16
I used an off camera flash fastened onto a bracket, extending it out to near the end of my 100 mm L macro lens. I used a paper towel as a diffuser. Settings were f13, 1/125, ISO 250. I also talked to the dragonfly, telling it what pretty eyes it had, and that seemed to calm him to stay and be photographed.

Thank you, Patrick. Wow from me now, though, to think that I have inspired you to start looking for a macro lens! I highly recommend Canon's 100 mm L macro lens! I have tried different lenses, and this is the best, in my opinion. Worth saving the nickels for, that is for sure. Wishing you the best. If you would like more info on my set up, let me know, I am certainly willing to share it. I just totally love macro. I am always amazed at the detail which we just can't normally see. <>< #11510336Jean Lechleiter September 02, 2016
