Good eye. Great capture and love the touch of red. Sounds like us here..very warm winter and we haven't had more then 3 inches of snow at a time and that has only happened maybe 3 times and then it is gone in a couple of hours. Enjoy, but take care. #9967868Gina Cormier February 06, 2012

It's beautiful with snow. We've been getting quite a lot already at lower elevation, but could use much more in the mountains. But March and April can be the big snow months, so it's not too late. Wonderful capture here, with the red stop sign catching the viewer's eye. Congratulations on your POTD, Ken! #9991818Kathryn Wesserling February 20, 2012

Beautiful captures --all of them. I miss not having snow, having grown up in snow country of Denver and the Colorado Rockies (Vail). We now live in South Louisiana where we were experiencing a drought, until last week when it rained buckets full and the wind was horrible like a tornado was in the area. Somehow photographing the wind and the rain just would not be the same as photographing white blankets of snow.
The stop sign is so perfect. It stops our eyes from wandering and adds to the composition of the scene as well as just a bit of color. Well envisioned and captured creation, Ken. This is a beauty!
