“ Window To My World ”

Description

Architecture ~ I live in a house w/ lots of colors outside. It has some gingerbread-like trim that my husband custom made. He brought to life the ideas I imagined into a one-of-a-kind cottage. I love my country house and all the memories within these walls.... Where I sit at my computer I see my window box w/ flowers all through the day. All of the other photos I took in town of different architecture did not appeal to me b/c they were drab. These bright colors put me in mind of the painter Georgia O'keefe. I admire her vivid colors of large blooms that I find refreshing. It had been raining some so the colors were very vivid. I used a Topaz Georgia O'keefe filter at 60% to boost the colors and smooth the irregularities in the flowers and wood. Settings : F 3.50 1/80 iso 100 @ 18mm
