Makawao Union Church Maui Hawaii
Uploaded: February 16, 2012 20:10:54
Founded in 1861 this church has celebrated 150 years. It is the 3rd rendition of the church and was designed by architect Charles William Dickey (1871-1942). It is a Gothic design in the style of an English village church.
It combines a Norman tower with a distinctively Hawaiian roofline. Four stained glass windows and the bell were reused from the old building. A Seth Thomas clock has three faces on the Norman style tower.
It continues to have an active interdenominational congregation.

What interesting facts about it's history too! I appreciate both the Gothic plus vernacular influences in design, too!
Wonderful, Heather!
