Ancient Forms
Uploaded: August 23, 2010 20:59:02
1/40s @ f/9.0, ISO 6400, 24-70 lens @ 40 mm. Topaz Adjustment and Textures applied in CS4. (EOD)
Taken in the basement of what was once a prominent blacksmith’s shop “Gruen Iron Forged Originals”. The building itself is 125+ years old and was once a candy factory and is now an art gallery. These are some of the blacksmith's forms but I am uncertain as to their use.
Exif: F Number: 9, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/40 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, return light detected, ISO: 6400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 40.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

A wonderfully composed shot, Rona. I'm guessing they are some kind of mold...maybe for some sort of filial for the tops of iron gates? Love sort of golden/rusty tones. #1301301
