SCORE KEEPER? [Baseball Pictures]

As I was shooting the semi-final and Championship games of the Carpenter Cup (high school baseball tournament), this hawk claimed the giant scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park (Phillies' stadium) for his own for much of the time, successfully fighting off all challenges from other birds.

HEY NEIGHBOR Now just spotting this at a ball game would be an impressive feat but getting a catch VERY NICE . Guess would be he finds the LOCAL PIGEONS rather TASTY MEALS and it would be almost impossible to top that perch.Jack #10216439

What a great photo op, Michelle! I probably wouldn't have even noticed the hawk! You have a great eye! Cool capture and a neat looking sky too! By the way, one of the lightbulbs needs to be changed! Ha! Ha! :) #10217423Michelle Alton July 06, 2012
Note: The lights were not lit, but I lit them with a pale yellow soft brush. I left one unlit so it would look more natural.Lorna Shutter July 06, 2012
Ha! Ha! Well, you had me fooled, Michelle! I really thought they were lit! :) #10217449
