Paula became intrigued with photography in the late 1960's and since then has pursued this art form as an avocation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Arts Degree from Indiana University. Her studies sent her abroad where she was fortunate to live, study and travel in cultures rich in art and history.
Since then, in traveling the world for both work and pleasure, she has visited numerous countries and six continents. Through it all, her camera has been her constant companion and the means to producing some amazing images.
Now retired from the business world, she has had more time to actively pursue various avenues of photography. Originally focused on travel imagery, she discovered that she is equally intrigued by the intimate worlds exposed by the macro lens and by the challenge of abstract photography. Primarily self-taught, she continues her exploration of this fascinating and ever-changing art form.
Her work has been published by Art A LA Carte International; has been exhibited in several local art galleries; and currently hangs in corporate offices as well as numerous private collections.
