About Art Netzer
My wife Gloria and I live in New Jersey. I started in photography by attending New York Institute of Photography. After graduation I worked at Technicolor in NYC for 2 years. My camera at the time was a 4x5 Crown Graphic Later in the early 1960's I moved to Minnesota where I landed a job with the Photographic Products Division. I had jobs in Product Development, Tech Service, Area Rep and ended up as the Eastern area Manager. After 25 years 3M decided to close down the Photographic Devision. I left in the mid 1980's. I felt it was time to think about another line of work. I went into specialized real estate until I was contacted bu PMDA and asked to run the Photo Information Booth. This was a program where I took digital photo equipment camera, scanners, printers, etc from 12 of the all photo equipment manufacturers and traveled around the US to attend various trade shows. The PIB displayed and introduced to the public the latest digital photograph equipment. The public was able to see, feel, and compare different makes and formats of digital equipment. This program was started in 1992 and I took it over in 1996 and continued until the program ended in 2008 when I retired.
