About Harriet Feagin
I have been interested in photography all my life and considering that I have 8 grandchildren, that's a long time. I remember taking photos with my mother's Brownie in th 1950's and 1960's. In 1980 my husband gave me a Canon AE-1 camera. I used that workhorse to record the lives of my three children but hardly ever shot anything except program. I became a widow in 1992 so the AE-1 was put away for a few years. My second husband is a professor who has his nose in a book all the time. I decided that if we were to make it, I would have to get a hobby. I called a photographer friend and she recommended a 30D to me. I started taking some classes and the rest is history. I love photographing anything and everything. People are a challenge for me so this is something I need to work on. I recently went on a workshop with Ed Heaton and discovered BetterPhoto.com. So far, I am loving it.
